Dennis McVicker

Dennis McVicker

President & CEO

Dennis McVicker, an experienced executive with almost 30 years in the petroleum and transportation industries, assumed the position of President & CEO of Tidewater Holdings, Inc. in 2005, after five years with the company as its Vice President and Liquid Products Division GM.

Dennis has extensive experience in process and project engineering, liquid pipeline and terminals management, customer service and business development. Prior to joining Tidewater, Dennis was Customer Service Center Team Leader at Chevron Pipe Line Company, in Houston, TX, where he was responsible for customer service, pipeline scheduling/dispatching, and volumetric measurement and invoicing for petroleum pipelines in the western United States.

At Tidewater, Dennis has been responsible for liquid transportation logistics, terminal operations, and business development for both transportation and terminaling. Since taking over the leadership of the company, Dennis has worked to establish a framework for continuous improvement, restructuring the executive management team and overseeing the development of a Comprehensive Management System to help ensure the company's goal of maintaining operational excellence and incident free operations. Dennis has also worked to expand and position the company for continued success by focusing on business growth through strategic planning and pursuing several business development opportunities.

Dennis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University. He has served on the board of directors of the International Liquid Terminals Association.

Tyler Kopet

Tyler Kopet

Executive VP & CFO

Tyler Kopet was named Tidewater’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in October 2010. As a key member of Tidewater’s executive management team, he participates in long range planning and corporate and strategic development.

Tyler has extensive experience overseeing business performance and strategic growth initiatives. His diverse experience includes process re-engineering, implementation and management. Prior to joining Tidewater, Tyler was CFO of MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions in Seattle, WA, where he was instrumental in the formation and acquisition of the corporation from Encompass Services, Inc.

At Tidewater, Tyler is responsible for the areas of accounting, finance, human resources, information technology, purchasing, insurance, organizational development and risk management. Since joining the company, he has restructured the accounting and human resources departments, and was the driving force behind successfully analyzing and restructuring the company's compensation and benefits programs. Tyler is a forward thinker and has a natural ability to connect with staff, helping to ensure effective implementation of future process improvement plans. He continues to focus on producing bottom line business performance results, and assisting the company with its business development goals.

Tyler has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Eastern Washington University. He is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and the Construction Financial Management Association.

Bruce Reed

Bruce Reed

VP & COO

Bruce Reed was named Tidewater’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in June 2011. He oversees the company's tug and barge operations and is also a member of Tidewater’s executive management team.

Bruce joined Tidewater with over 30 years experience in the marine industry. His most recent position was as GM of Northwest Harbor Services for Foss Maritime in Seattle, WA. During his career he also held the positions of VP of Operations, in charge of all Foss’ tug and barge fleet, and VP of Marine Transportation. During his tenure as VP of Operations, he led the implementation and certification of Foss’ Safety Management and Quality Compliance systems. He was also the lead on contract negotiations with the Inlandboatmen’s Union, Masters Mates and Pilots, Seamen’s Union of the Pacific and Marine Engineer Beneficial Association. He was a trustee of the Inlandboatmen’s Union pension and health care trusts for many years.

At Tidewater, Bruce is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and dispatch departments, in addition to providing managerial oversight for a vessel crew of over 115 employees. Bruce has been a key advisor on the dispatch automation system project and his expertise was instrumental in guiding the company's labor relations activities, resulting in the successful renegotiation of two labor contracts. Bruce has formed excellent relationships with employees and continues to focus on promoting attention to operating in accordance with the company’s mission and values, with a particular emphasis on safety and incident free operations.

Bruce has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College and has been active in numerous industry organizations.

Andy Stephens

Andy Stephens

VP Business Development & Terminals

Andy Stephens was named Tidewater's VP of Business Development & Terminals in October 2011. He is a member of the executive management team and responsible for strategic planning and company-wide business development activities, along with oversight of Tidewater's terminal operations.

Andy has cultivated his expertise in management and business development throughout his 18 years of experience in the marine industry. Before coming to Tidewater, he held a variety of senior management positions at Foss Maritime in Seattle, WA, the most recent being VP of Planning & Business Development. His responsibilities included strategic and tactical planning, and identifying and developing new business opportunities, including acquisitions.

At Tidewater, Andy provides managerial oversight to the business development department and terminal company operations and spearheads business development initiatives that are consistent with Tidewater's overall strategy, mission and values. He has recently been focused on pursuing coal barging opportunities and expanded utilization of terminal assets. Andy continues to stay on top of industry trends and develop relationships with potential new external partners with the goal of creating new business opportunities for Tidewater.

Andy has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance & Management from the University of Pennsylvania.

William H. (Bill) Collins

William H. (Bill) Collins

Director of Environmental, Health, Safety and Security

Bill Collins was named Tidewater’s Director of EHS&S in April 2012. Bill oversees the company’s environmental, health, safety, security and quality programs and is also a member of Tidewater's senior management team.

Bill brings 18 years of experience managing regulatory compliance to Tidewater. Prior to joining Tidewater, Bill managed compliance for ConocoPhillips' petroleum storage/distribution terminals and pipeline facilities in Oregon and Washington. He has also held the position of senior scientist/compliance specialist with several earth and environmental consulting firms in the Pacific Northwest. His experience includes multi-media environmental compliance and reporting, auditing EHS policies, procedures and regulations, and supporting operations through permitting marine structure construction and repair, maintenance dredging, and pipeline installations and reroutes.

At Tidewater, the EHS&S department is the steward of the company’s strategic goal of incident free operations, and to this end, Bill has focused his group toward implementing a behavioral-based safety management system, developing a Comprehensive Management System to manage the company’s policies and procedures, developing an electronic task-based compliance management system to ensure regulatory compliance, and compiling and tracking a list of EHS&S key performance indicators for evaluating continuous improvement.

Bill has a Bachelor of Science degree from Radford University and Master of Science degrees from the University of Florida and the University of New Orleans emphasizing geophysics and hydrogeology. He is also a licensed geologist/hydrogeologist in Washington, Oregon, and Florida.
