Visitors day at McNary Dam

We were heading in to the McNary Dam on September 18th and the Lock Master Vince Ruzicka (who is also a childhood friend of mine) let me know that it was visitor’s day at the dam, an event hosted by the Corps. I looked out and saw a whole group of kids up on the platform, so we blew our horn in greeting. After we got to the top of the lock, I went out to greet all the kids with ice cream bars and popsicles for everyone. It was so fun to see them and we had a great time - one I'm sure the kids and their parents will always remember!

He's here! Owen Peter Guy born September 11, 2012 in the early morning hours. Weighing in at 6 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long. Congrats to Maria and Justin Guy!
